So its been a busy couple of months of packing & posting the new ZGB album out to so many of you! Lots went out to Australia and America and of course, England! Thank you to everyone who ordered a copy and I hope you are enjoying it. The album has been getting some great reviews and so much air play, -receiving 'pick of the month" and hitting no.23 in the IBBA charts. Slap magazine gave us a great write up and Ryans Gig Guide gave us album of the month! We now take the album on the road with an amazing tour called 'Ladies of the Blues" which hits all major cities at the end of November and will be a sizzling hot show with 3 bands- Zoe Green Band, Elaina Cargnelutti and Lee Ainsleys Blues Storm. Its gonna be hot! Get your tickets!
The ZGB album has been mastered by Jon Astley (The Who, Eagles, David Bowie, John Mayall, Tori Amos, etc!) and is now sent off for pressing! Pre-orders will be sent out by the end of August and will be on the merch stand at Colne Festival (August 25th). A fun day was had filming a music video with the very talented Nick J. Townsend (Rebecca Downes, Harry and the Howlers) at a wonderful bar called Joe Joe Jims in B'ham (a truly historical place full of memorabilia, arcade games, strange sights and beautiful features). Looking forward to sending this your way soon...
